This game has gone downhill fast. so many pop ups. if you have an issue and submit a trouble ticket they sit on it for a month and then ask if your still having the issue submit a new one, process starts over. way too much lag. if you dont spend money you get left behind.

This is my first time writing a review. I hate this game so much that I had to write one and let people know why. This game could be fun but it is extremely unbalanced, emphasizing "EXTREMELY". Basically, the more money you spend on the game, the stronger you get. So if someone spent more money than you, most likely theyre more powerful than you as well. Thats not all, the ones on top, who are the people that spent the most money, have a much better chance at winning in events. Winning in events then grants you more prizes that give you a huge advantage. So the strong keep getting stronger and the weaker cant catch up. Unless they spend as much as the stronger ones did which is in the THOUSANDS! No joke, no exaggeration, thousands. And even then, they would still be behind because they would have spent the money after the ones on top already spent theirs. This is simply a pay to win game, except on another cruelly unbalanced level. Stay away, stay away, stay away. Do not play!

I have been playing for a long time, in multiple accounts. You can NOT get ahead without a lot of money. These folks will spend hundreds on instant upgrades. Its insane.

Ive been playing this game for a long time, 4 to 5 years and because I dont spend a lot of money I get ran over a lot. It takes way too long to build or advance bases. Just. As soon as you do the guys that are willing to spend loads of money will take everything you have worked for. The biggest reason I stay with this game is, I like talking to the guys in my alliance. Other wise this game is not worth it at all. Dont get stuck on it they will take your babies milk right out of its mouth and watch it starve to death.

Ive played for 3 years and spent $$$. Had an issue for an event that cost me $$$. Provided a detailed screen shot and documentation and the email back admitted a programming error. Only later to say I didnt qualify for (minor) compensation. DO NOT waste money. POOR support on what used to be a decent game.

I couldnt even get into the game anymore.

This game is a coining! Game! And the lagging chit! And takes years to get anywhere! And for the others ! In the game? Its getting way to expensive! 169.99-199.00 for a commander its bull chit!

You have to buy a lot if you want to get a head and its not cheap. You might not get what you want either. Missed match against other people and the worlds are dead. Not a very good game

Been playing this game for over three years. The game has gotten much better under the new developer. Recommend to get on a top team and u wont have to coin as much as long as everyone is active and competitive. Advice for developer - create periodic player suggestion surveys, the guys I play with have some great ideas.

Been playing for 4 years, but the playability has gotten really bad, the game consumes massive battery life, no reason for this other than written in bad code. Now to the real complaint, commanders too hard to build as you have to buy or try to win them... too much like a slot machine. In app purchases are too expensive, cost of expendables s also too high. So unless you have a big desire to feed itunes lots of money,this game is not for anyone.

Virtually zero tech support, VERY glitchy, game freezes an crashes constantly.. They are constantly doing updates but never fixing the problems at hand... Game has steadily went downhill for the past year now. This game once was alot of fun and competitive to play. You actually had to consider strategy, but now its only about spending money.no skill any longer required... Lots of better wAr games out there!!

Game itself is a great concept. However, the money players spoil it and developers dont do much to compensate to make it fun for the kids who do not have the credit cards or funds to compete. With that beware and expect much disappointment if you are a daily player.

Ive played this game for many years, but since rockyou got a hold of this game theres been many things wrong with it. I usually dont care about bugs and other things like that. But now I cannot even load the game and try to even play it. Please fix this. Thank you.

This game is very addictive and fun to play with people all over the world. It takes smarts to figure out and strategize to succeed; using both individual skills and working as a team. This game is overpriced to get ahead in game and crashes every few months. It is very addictive and they have been updating game to keep interesting.

The company has the game rigged to where you have to spend to be on top. They keep coming with new stuff and it only last about 2 months and you can not get any more material unless you spend. The game was more fun when it was plain and simple and not over engineered as it is now. Anyone giving a 5 star rating is either a coiner or employee.

I use to absolutely love this game. Played it for 3+ years. They got greedy and ruined it for 95% of the players. Tech support is a joke, unless you like form letter style emails. Constant glitches. Isnt worth the time, effort and certainly NOT WORTH THE MONEY YOU NEED TO SPEND, to be competitive. Best advice......stay away!

Aside from the game lag, spontaneous game shut downs and now very limited event offerings, this biggest issue is RockYou making unauthorized charges to player credit cards for purchases that were not initiated by the player and where the bundle items were not given to the player. This has happen to me definitely once and thanks to Apple was reversed. I suspect it happened to me a second time but frankly I wasnt completely sure. In my case I am the sole gamer in my household of two. Can be a relatively fun game to play with a strong social aspect, but beware there are some game functionality frustrations and problems with RockYou taking your money when you never intended to make a purchase.

Game lags way to much if there is a new update to release, it should be to fix that. Its annoying.

Lets face it, this game is over. Its going to go down as one of the best games from 2013-2015. Since then it has sucked. No new worlds, its just garbage now days.
